Boil Water Advisory

BOIL WATER ADVISORY

The Boil Water Advisory Notice is required by State Law anytime a water system falls below 20 psi of pressure. The purpose/theory behind it is that a loss of pressure can possibly allow bacteria or other contaminants into the water stream.

Once the system is fully pressurized, samples of water will be tested to see if there are any contaminants.  When those test results show no contamination, the boil water advisory is lifted.
